Report: Poland says PGNiG sees no sensible offers from Gazprom
MOSCOW, Jun 3 (PRIME) -- Polish state-run gas firm PGNiG has received no reasonable price proposals for Russian gas from Gazprom but is ready to start negotiations once it arrives, Peter Naimsky, a government official responsible for gas and power infrastructure, told Bloomberg on Friday.
The company sent a notification that it had started an arbitration case against Gazprom to contest the price set in a 1996 contract to the company in May. Gazprom earlier said that it expects a court ruling no later than July 31, 2017.
Naimsky earlier said that he does not see a chance for prolongation of the contract after 2022 when it expires.
